Cael:Today we went to the Osaka castle museum. It was a castle but was destroyed in the bombings in 1945 and 1997 it was rebuilt and became a museum dedicated to the history of Osaka castle.
The first floor was museum information. The second floor was dedicated to the measurements. The third floor was dedicated to how it was rebuilt a few times and included models to show how it was rebuilt differently. The fourth floor was dedicated to a famous shogun, hideyoshi toyotomi and his era, the warring provinces era. The fifth floor was dedicated to the summer war, a disastrous war for the shogunate revealing how weak they were. The sixth floor was closed to visitors so we didn’t go to that floor.
The seventh floor was also dedicated to hideyoshi toyotomi, but it was more his life’s story than about the era he defined. The eight floor was an observational deck and we could see most of Osaka.
There was also a column with a slot cut out of it that is about the same size as the Buddha statue’s nostril.
April:After lunch we went to Nara, which is home to Todaiji Temple, the largest wooden building in the world, as well as the famous Nara Deer Park.
At Todaiji Temple we saw a huge Buddha statue.

At the Deer Park, many of us fed some of the deer that wonder freely on the grounds.
They are very persistent.
Tonight we went to Kyobashi(Osaka:old town) to eat and explore. After we parted, many of us went to eat at a gyoudon restaurant which was really cheap and amazing.
After, many of us went to a arcade and played the many games there were. After that they went to the mall and bought clothes and candy that we later ate. Some of us split off to the really big Book-Off and bought more souvenirs. There was also a dollar store that we went to to buy some convinces for our trip.
