In the evening we visited the Jyoko Tech HS after our trip to Nara. The students welcomed us with a brief introduction and a tour of the school. We got to meet various clubs and say hi to many people.
This school was much smaller than the ones before so we were able to stick around with the same group the whole time
Visiting the machine classroom was my favorite part, all the machines were very intricate.
After the tour the students showed us the Nagashi Somen they built for us.
It’s a long bamboo ramp with running water down the middle where you to try catch incoming noodles and tomatoes to add to your cup of broth.
It was so much fun gathering around trying to pick at all the pieces!
Finally, we had a bento dinner (Spam sushi with with the students.
Overall a very good experience to see different kinds of Japanese high schools.Koby is giving a bag of gift(American Candy) to them!
We are staying this Osaka Youth Hostel!(10th floor)
