Day2: With Hostfamily - Saturday

We are staying Kasukabe-City, Saitama.  (埼玉県　春日部市）The staion we are at is Minamisakuraiー Station.(南桜井）

Hazel: In the morning, we made matcha mochi and dango. It was delicious! After that, we went to my host sister's piano practice, then the cat cafe, and shopping, too!

Jasmine: We started our morning off with flower arrangements and then I got to try on a yukata. For lunch we had all you can eat yakiniku!! Then we visited stores like the one-dollar store, second hand store, and more!

Lucas: We made yakitori for dinner as well as yakisoba. We went to Green Hill Park, it was hot but very pretty!!

Jamison: We went for a long walk today, it was hot, but beautiful. We also made gyoza and played smash bros.

Ivan: Traveled by train to Nikko where we spent the day walking around to many places like Tobu World Square, then on a train called “Spacia X” to Nikko Toshogu Shrine. 

Maipriya: First, we stopped by a bookshop to look and buy comics. Then we went to the mall, which was huge, and I bought way too much stuff.

Zakery: We went for a walk today and saw the Elementary School in Saitama. We also made Takoyaki for dinner and it was delicious and fun to make.

Leo :We went on a beautiful bike ride in the morning along the countryside. We also went to a delicious cafe and did karaoke, it was a very fun day!We also did fireworks at night, they were very cool!

Sebastian :We spent the day doing a lot. 2 of the things we did was play with Lego and make takoyaki and okonomiyaki. Some other fun events today were shopping at the second hand store, shopping at the one dollar store, and taking a bike ride through town

Elliana:We woke up early to go to the mall, it was huge and awesome! I bought so much stuff. Then later we went to a family friend’s house by car to talk with them and see their bunny. Afterwards, we went to a small shrine, and then made gyoza for dinner. It was so much fun!

Amelia : We went to the spring festival at Kasukabe High School and the dollar store. Afterwards we made Takoyaki together and shared some pineapple.

Madeline: We went on a walk together around nearby fields and saw a turtle and a snake. We also went to calligraphy class and played video games and board games together. Then we ate grilled meat skewers and really yummy sushi!
