Day 0: We made it to Japan!

 Our first picture of Japan Trip 2025 at Haneda (Tokyo) Airport.

 

Tokyo is sunny and blue sky, but a bit humid. 

We are looking forward to 20 days of adventure in Japan!

Here are our first impressions of Japan.

Jasmine: The airport was very humid but it’s super big too!! The convenience store has yummy food

Maipriya: The plane ride there was brutal. When we arrived, it was super humid and I regretted wearing an under sleeve.

Ivan: Love the convenience stores. Also think the airport is very large and could get easily lost if there weren’t signs.

Hazel: The airport was really easy to navigate, and it was so much quieter than the Minneapolis one! I really enjoyed checking out the convenience stores in the airport.

Jamison: I think Tokyo is chaotic, it has so much happening and a lot of people going places. It’s very fun though from what I’ve experienced, the souvenir shops in the airport alone was enough to make me genuinely consider spending all my money

Sebastian: Japan is much more crowded than I thought, and people speak the language much faster than I can comprehend, but it's still incredible. I wish this trip would never end.

Lucas: Tokyo is very very busy but organized too. It's really humid, im glad I didn't wear jean.

Elliana: The plane ride wasn’t as bad as I thought, I slept the whole way. The food in the airport 7-11 was really good

Madeline: The Tokyo airport is a lot nicer than the Minneapolis one! It is also a lot more humid than I expected, I’m glad I wore shorts!

Amelia: The airport seemed very organized. So far it's just as humid and hot as Eau Claire.

Leo: Very good cheap food at the airport convenience store! Very humid, should’ve worn shorts

Zakery: The airport was very spacious and had a lot of interesting stores. The view of Japan was very nice from the ride and I’m excited to see more!
