Elliana: This morning we woke up early to beat the heat and explore a beautiful temple in Kyoto called Kiyomizu-Dera.
There were many temples we were able to visit, and we washed our hands and drank from a natural spring that is supposed to bring us luck and good health!
Afterwards, we had a little time to go shopping in the temple area, and we got to try a few local Kyoto snacks.
Finally, we had lunch at the train station. Almost everyone had katsu curry, it was delicious!
Hazel: In the afternoon, we took the train to the Fushimi Inari shrine. There are around 10,000 torii gates lining the path to the top of the mountain. It was so hot that we couldn't make it to the top, but we had so much fun looking at the beautiful views on the way up!
