Day 6: Tokyo, Imperial palace, Odaiba

In the evening we went to Odaiba in Tokyo bay on the automatic Yurikamome driver-less train.

Maipriya: Today, we arrived at the train station at 9am. After taking lots of train rides, we walked to the Yasukuni Jinja (Shinto shrine).

It is a place in Japan that is a sacred space and serves to honor those who sacrificed their lives for Japan.

There are over 2.46 million individuals who died in the conflict of war.

Next, we walked far to visit the Imperial Palace.

The palace is surrounded by moats, massive stone walls, and beautifully maintained gardens.

There were many sights we walked past: a grove of bamboo, ponds and foot bridges, a small waterfall, etc.

Ivan: The mall was super modern and clean, with tons of cool stores and a real open area.

One of the highlights was Uniqlo, it had a huge, well organized layout and a great selection of clothes that were both stylish and affordable. The displays made it easy to find what you needed.

Just walking around the mall was fun, I ended up eating wagyu and cotton candy in the mall, so many awesome stores like Ghibli, arcades, and many more.

Going to the public bath was exactly like onsen and was very enjoyable.
