Day 6: Imperial palace, Odaiba

Kang:
Today we all rode the train to Iidabashi Station after packing the stuff we needed for our stay in the hostel and our next two host families.

We then dropped off our luggage at the Tokyo International Hostel and stopped to look around Kagurazaka street, a lively street with various places to eat Japanese cuisine like sushi, ramen, rice bowls and etc. However they also had Italian, Korean, and other foreign foods.

There were also a lot of dessert and souvenir shops around.

We then made our way to the Imperial Palace. Along the way we also stopped by the Yasukuni Jinja Shinto Shrine that was established by the Meiji Emperor. An event seemed to be going on as there were many men in business suits and women in traditional shrine maiden attire. At the Imperial Palace there were many beautiful gardens and historical walls and remains of the palace. We also stopped for everyone to buy some ice cream. It was a very fun and relaxing walk.
