Amy: I went to a rental Kimono Shop and wore a Kimono with Rei. We were in a outside market and then we entered a tea ceremony building.
Hailey: Everyone in the neighborhood got together to do a fireworks festival. We cracked open a watermelon as well as watch fireworks.
Jaimy (Hannah): We walked around the streets and ate a bunch of food yesterday, including menchikatsu! All the girls are super cute and friendly, especially Ren-chan here in the photograph. We also all went to an onsen (hot springs) together ^-^.
Tanner: I went to a famous temple that was surrounded by huge trees and was very interesting [Nikko]. We also saw a waterfall while there and I ate udon at a local restaurant. It was very cool.

Korr: We went to a secret shop and ate some dorayaki! It was really fun and tasty as well. We also went to the park, where we got to see beautiful scenery. I spent a lot of time with my host brother and sister. We played Legos, we watched various programs and played board games as well. Their dogs are really cute as well.
