Day 9: Host family #2 in Yokohama

Luna:

• Karaoke
• Made okonomiyaki
• Visited Kamakura
• Yakisoba breakfast
• Listened to music together

Luna is wearing host sister's uniform from Junior High school!

Cassie:

• Cup Noodle Museum
• Pokemon Center
• Ghibli store
• Ocean
• Book-Off (used book store)
• Ate Tempura, Chicken and Yakitori

Patience:

• Did sightseeing by the park in Yokohama
• Ate Curry Rice
• Went to Pokemon Center
• Went to Animate store
• Ate okonomiyaki

Fynn: 

First was the ferry ride around Yokohama bay, and the second was eating udon at a restaurant in Kamakura

Isabel:

I loved collecting seashells by Enoshima and visiting the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine with my host family. They are so generous and we enjoy teaching each other English/Japanese. 

Payton: 

Eri and I went to the cup noodle museum, the doll museum and the bay! 

Chenoa: 

We went to Kamakura to go shopping and visit the shrines. We also went to Enoshima for more shrines and we took many photos of the ocean. Lastly, we returned to Yokohama and took a ferryboat to Chinatown where we had dinner. 

Jocelyn:

I went to many places over the weekend with my host family but my favorites were the Cup Noodle Museum and Kamakura. We also made delicious food (Tonkatsu and Monja).

Clay:

• We ate curry and a lot of white rice
• We went to Landmark Tower and had ice cream
• I got to meet family friends and Yuito's school friends.
• We went to Chinatown in Yokohama and ate lunch there. I had spicy shrimp.

Calvin:

• Prepared a lunch meal
• Brought me to a dinner party
• Brought me to Enoshima
• Guided me to the school
• Created amazing meals
• Brought me to Kamakura
• Visited the Owl Cafe.

Damaris:

• Cup Noodle Museum
• Amusement park
• Shrine
• Conveyor-belt sushi
• Hydrangeas (Hakkejima)
• Played many games (Wii)

And special thanks to the teachers who made our homestay and school visit possible! We really appreciate Hakuyo High School!
